Held at the Hippodrome de Longchamp in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, the race is open to thoroughbred horses aged three years and over. Often abbreviated to just the “Arc”, this is the richest race in Europe that attracts the winners from the biggest races in England, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy.
